The Bomb Factory Hosts New Year Evil!

What better way to spend New Year’s Eve than at The Bomb Factory for this year’s New Year Evil festival! December 31, 2015 will consist of today’s hottest hard rock and metal bands for a night that you don’t want to miss.

Dallas, Texas natives and heavy metal supergroup, Hellyeah consists of members from Mudvayne, Nothingface, and legendary grove metal band, Pantera. The band formed in 2006 and released a self-titled album less than a year later, debuting at number 9 on the Billboard 200 and selling 45,000 copies. Their popularity skyrocketed even further after the release of their sophomore album, Stampede, which once again landed in the top 10 of the Billboard 200.

Also headlining New Year Evil is alternative metal band, Sevendust. The band has been blending several genres of music including thrash metal, progressive, and nu metal with soul, blues, and classic rock since 1994. Their debut, self-titled album released in 1997 and appeared on the Billboard 200, and maintained a spot there for 16 weeks. The band appeared in Dutch festival, Dynamo Open Air, alongside bands including Deftones, Rammstein, The Misfits, and Pantera.

Supporting acts for New Year Evil consist of Nothing More, Red Rising Sun, and Islander. Texan prog metal band, Nothing More has released six albums today, with their self-titled album being their latest release. Nothing More supported Periphery early this year for their Juggernaut tour.

Red Rising Sun, hard rockers from Ohio, have released three albums since their inception. Their first single, “The Otherside” released this year and peaked no. 1 on the Mainstream Rock Songs chart and no. 17 on the Rock Airplay chart.

Islander is a nu-metal band hailing from Greenville, South Carolina. They’ve released one EP and a full-length titled Violence and Destruction through Victory Records.

Tickets for New Year Evil go on sale Friday, November 6th and can be purchased here. Doors open at 6:00 PM and the show starts at 7:00 PM.
