“April’s event was an amazing night of action packed fights with world renowned ring announcer Lupe Contreras on the microphone and former Dallas Cowboys players in attendance,” said Montoya Boxing Gym owner Michael Montoya. “The Bomb Factory Boxing Series is back to give DFW boxing fans action packed fights showcasing the sports future.” Lupe Contreras will return as announcer for the night’s festivities. Cresencio “Kid Thunder” Ramos (10-0), coming off his April victory over Jesus Lule, puts his undefeated record on the line in Deep Ellum. Ramos has numerous impressive victories including a victory on the Canelo Kirkland undercard at Minute Maid Park in Houston.
Top Rank prospects Joey Alday (4-0) and Arturo Marquez (7-0), son of former World Champion Raul Marquez, step into the ring June 30 with their sights set on impressive victories. “I can’t wait to return to The Bomb Factory and dominate for the Dallas fans,” said Alday. Arturo Marquez is widely known as a rising star in the sport. With his father, former World Champion Raul Marquez, in his corner, he is a step ahead of the competition. Already under the Top Rank banner at 20 years old, the sky is the limit for the Houston native. ABO Lightweight title holder Alex Del Bosque (13-4), in his first title defense, and flamboyant prospect Ray Ximenez (15-1) add more talent to The Bomb Factory that the Dallas boxing fans don’t want to miss.
