Logic is Coming to The Bomb Factory!

Logic will be taking over The Bomb Factory on Saturday, March 26, 2016. He will be celebrating and promoting the release of his latest studio album, The Incredible True Story.

Maryland native, Sir Robert Bryson Hall II, known as Logic, met his mentor, Solomon Taylor, in his early teens. When Logic was 16, Logic was given a large number of beat CDs to rap over. Then, he was known as Psychological because “it was about the mind and I knew that’s what I wanted my music to consist of; something that really challenges the mind.” He opened for Pitbull, Method Man, and Ludacris in Maryland under the monikor, but soon shortened it to Logic.

Logic signed with Def Jam Recordings in April of 2013, a month before the release of his fourth mixtape, Young Sinatra: Welcome to Forever. Production for his debut studio album, Under Pressure, began later in 2013 and was released on October 21, 2014. It received positive reviews from critics and sold 72,000 copies in its first week. A month later, Logic made his TV debut on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, performing I’m Gone. He’s also performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live, playing Buried Alive.

Logic’s second studio album, The Incredible True Story, was released on November 13, 2015. The album tells a story that takes place 100 years into the future, where Earth becomes uninhabitable and the remaining five million people reside in a space station. The main characters, Kai and Thomas, both from the future, try to travel to a planet called “Paradise” during the entirety of the album. The album earned the no. 3 stop on the Billboard 200, selling 118,000 copies in the first week.

Logic will be supporting his sophomore album and is making a stop at The Bomb Factory on March 26. Come out and support this talented artist, who can freestyle and solve a Rubiks cube at the same time.
