GOOD BYE BOMB FACTORY6.5.17
In late December, on a whim, I emailed The Bomb Factory with aspirations to intern with them. This was my first time interning and I was very nervous to begin a new chapter in my life. I interviewed then later was offered a position as a marketing intern. I was ecstatic for what was to come. Recently changing my major to specify in music business I was nervous as to what was in store, but I knew this was going to become a life changing experience.
The first few weeks I was very intimidated by working with others who were very versed in their fields and this being very new to me. I quickly learned all that goes into putting forth a successful show with every minute detail needing to be in place. During my time here, I have learned many real world experiences that could not be taught in a classroom.
I was very fortunate to be introduced to many musicians and genres that I normally would not listen to or would have learned about. During my tenure I had the privilege to see some of my favorite musicians perform such as P.O.D., Jonestown Massacre, Monoculture and The Menzingers. Working at The Bomb Factory reignited my passion for music and brought about a bigger appreciation for the work that goes into putting on those breathtaking experiences that we all live to see.
I am very thankful for my time here and wish the best for everyone in future endeavors,
thank you Bomb Squad!
