Nice to Meet You
ABOUT
The Bomb Factory is a state-of-the-art, 50,000 square foot venue located in the heart of Dallas’ historic Deep Ellum which is known for its rich music-centric culture. While the building was built over a century ago, The Bomb Factory reopened in 2015 after a multimillion dollar renovation, with a re-imagined layout to accommodate up to 4,300 fans. The Bomb Factory consists of a mezzanine, VIP suites and premium reserved seating options. It can be configured to meet various capacities, comfortably hosting shows as intimate as 1,000 people. If we could sum it all up, we like to think of our facility as a home for concerts that matter and events that swagger.
The Bomb Factory's sister venue are Trees and Canton Hall. All three venues are located in Deep Ellum and owned by Clint and Whitney Barlow.
HISTORY
In the early 1900s, the building was used to manufacture Ford automobiles. During WWII, the building was used to manufacture bombs and ammunitions for armed forces, hence the name, “Bomb Factory”. In the mid 1990’s, the building was converted to a music/event venue and hosted bands such as PHISH, Radiohead, Dave Matthews Band, Sonic Youth, The Ramones, INXS, Nine Inch Nails, and Fugazi at their peak. Utilizing only the existing foundation and walls, the complete multimillion dollar redesign has made The Bomb Factory Dallas’ premier Live Music Venue.
